It lets you author items, set their traits, and immediately play with them in Bot Mode or share them with friends. QDo I need an account to play?
Nope. GuessIt has no accounts. Just open the page, pick a mode, and start playing. Your name and stats live in your browser's localStorage — nothing is ever uploaded.
QIs GuessIt free?
Yes — 100% free, no ads, no in-app purchases, no premium tiers. It's a hobby project.
QCan I play offline?
Bot Mode and the Daily Challenge work fully offline once the page has loaded. Multiplayer obviously needs an internet connection to talk to the room server.
QHow do I play with friends?
Pick Multiplayer → Create Room → share the 6-letter room code with your friend → they join with the code → both click Ready → start the duel.
QWhere is my progress saved?
In your browser's localStorage on the GuessIt origin. Clearing site data or switching devices/browsers starts you fresh. There's no server-side profile.
QCan I make my own content packs?
Yes! For custom packs, visit the admin panel inside the game. You can author items, traits, and descriptions and play them in Bot Mode or share with friends.
